The Teaching, Learning, and Assessing (TLA) Department provides rigorous, relevant curriculum and assessment. We also support the implementation of best instructional practices to sustain high student achievement based on data.

Curriculum Adoption

The public is invited to review materials for Amplify Science, the science materials for grades k-8 that have been proposed for use in Santa Cruz Valley Unified School District (SCVUSD) beginning in the 2020-2021 school year. In accordance with ARS 15-721, new textbooks must be placed on display for a period of 60 days prior to official adoption by the governing board. Please complete the Amplify Science review form online for your feedback regarding the science materials. Please see below to review the digital material.
